With a Drummel I cut off the bottom of the turret.
...cut out the turret hatch and made a replacement attatching
it with small hindges. I'll do the drivers hatch later [requires some internal stuff]. theres two styles of extra hatches
in the bottom if you want to cut them out to replace the one you cut out up top.
...drilled out gunports on turret.
...scored all hatches for engine and driver. THIS made a big differance, it looked like you could open them, I REscored
them [with a hand tool this time]after the paint job.
and... made a small parascope up on the turret attatched by
a screw from inside, it turns.
...fixed wheels and tracks permanent, [I will replace them with better wheels and running
gear later]
...paint and mud...and thats about it..
The hardest part was references, every [REAL ww2 T-34]
pic I found on the web was different, I seems every company that made the T-34 did things a little different, when modifacations
were made they just started doing it on the new tanks there was no refit on the others, some had copulas others did'nt, periscopes
in different places, things like this and this was all the same model!
Although I added "stuff" to the hull, I did
notice that the Russians did'nt do that a lot. Most T-34s that I saw had nothing but mud and dirt on them
